Can Resale Make One Bitter or Better?
After many long years of trying to work a online business I have begun to rethink my vision. Why am I putting the time into building an online presence? I am sure many work at home folks often run across the same ~Light Bulb~ question. Are lower sales the reason behind the loss of creativity or is the creative loss due to the lack of inspiration in sales? What does it take for a good sale, if not hard work and dedication towards your craft. What makes a potential customer linger yet leave without purchasing your products. In my business networking group there seems to be an huge crock pot of anwsers. Yet, no one can really identify a concrete reason they are not getting the sales they set out to get. Many have taken the stance they will be quitting online because it is a waste of time. Pursuing a dream that can not be reality. I am sensing a large amount of bitterness towards the world wide web. Can selling turn a creative person bitter or can a bitter person turn creative in their selling.. I would like to imagine those who are feeling the blues right now have been spending too much time focusing on money. Not focusing on profit. Turning your business into a profitable venue takes more than advertising your products to another in the same boat. If we are all fisherman and take the same boat to fish, and one fisherman catches more fish then another is that fisherman better at fishing? Or is the boat over loaded with men, that everyone must wait on their turn to cast their pole. Dont be a bitter fisherman in a loaded boat. Become a better fisherman and find another spot to throw your line. Being a sales person is no different. You can not bank sales on your networking friends. You are there to learn and gather resources so you can cast your own line into new waters where the fish are dying to eat up your creativity. Dont be a bitter networker, be a better one! Respond to questions..
Replace wants with resources..
Rely on integrity..
Rally for good causes..
And most importantly dont let your lack of sales be the end of your business. If it is broken learn how to fix it.
If you can not fix it, learn how to ask for help in a new direction. That is what a good networking community can do for you.
